The history of De Klok Banden B.V. began in 1920 with the start of a coal and transport company in Rotterdam, which then later supplied oil products in the fifties and sixties. In the late sixties, De Klok Banden started a specialty shop for tyres.
The eighties were also marked by the continued expansion of business activities at De Klok Banden. An important step was taken in 1982 with the acquisition of a larger premises in Oud-Beijerland, 15 km south of Rotterdam. By this time, De Klok Banden had become a wholesaler in cars, delivery vans, 4×4/SUVs, lorries and port tyres.
Strong growth in the nineties led to a new construction in Oud-Beijerland. A new warehouse was added in 2006, bringing the total surface area to 25,000 m2, ensuring even more agility for De Klok Banden in its response to international developments in the tyre market.
De Klok Banden’s own import brands come from various parts of the world, and each brand demands a specific approach to doing business.
